LHeC Workshop

The next workshop on the LHeC will take place at CERN, 24 June 2015 and Chavannes-de-Bogis, Switzerland, 25 - 26 June 2015.

The aim of the meeting is to discuss the progress made on the development of the LHeC, including the conceptual design of a multi-turn energy recovery linac (ERL) facility and FCC-he prospects, and to discuss potential next steps and collaborations.

The plenary opening at CERN (24.6. 3-5pm) will provide an overview on the physics, accelerator, ERL facility and detector designs. It will be followed by two parallel sessions on 25 & 26 June covering:

• Physics and Detector. (This session will be convened by Voica Radescu and Peter Kostka.)

• Accelerator and ERL Facility. (This session will be convened by Gianluigi Arduini and Erk Jensen.)

A workshop summary is given on Friday afternoon at Chavannes in the open session of the International Advisory Committee.

There are no registration fees for this workshop but to facilitate its organisation, registration is required on the workshop webpage.
