CONGRESS VENUE (PAGINA WEB)

The 104th National Congress of the Italian physical Society will be held at the Università della Calabria from 17 to 21 September 2018.

The Opening Ceremony will be held on Monday, 17 September at 9.00 a.m. at the Aula Magna "Beniamino Andreatta" of the Centro Congressi, Università della Calabria, Via P. Bucci, Arcavacata di Rende (CS). It will be possible to register for the Congress for the duration of the ceremony.

Starting from Monday afternoon, all work will take place at the Department of Physics, Università della Calabria, Via P. Bucci. The Secretariat will be open here for registration from Monday afternoon until the end of the works.

ABSTRACTS AND INVITED TALKS

Abstracts, in italian or in english, must be submitted within NEW DEADLINE 20 May 2018, with a maximum of 100 words and without figures, with the appropriate Section indicated, the complete address for correspondence of the Speaker with his/her name underlined.

Only abstracts submitted in due time and conforming to the rules will be published in the Proceedings of the Congress. Accepted abstracts will be presented orally.
One of the authors, possibly the speaker, must be member of the iIalian Physical Society.

AWARDS FOR BEST PRESENTATIONS

The best speakers will be awarded a prize and their contribution will be published on Il Nuovo Cimento.

YOUNG SECTION (WEB PAGE)

On Thursday 20 September, from 9.00 to 13.00, the works of the the "Young Section" will be held in collaboration with the Associazione Italiana Studenti di Fisica (AISF).
The fee for the participation in this Section only is 10,00 Euros, registration will be open from Wednesday 19 September.

It is possible to pre-register at the Congress from 5 July to 5 September (h. 12.00) at this link: REGISTRATION.
Invited Speakers can pre-register at the same fee as Individual Members here: REGITRATION INVITED SPEAKERS.
Please ask information at your administration office before pre-register.

Together with the pre-registration (or registration) at the Congress it will be possible to renew the membership fee or ask to become a SIF Member, in order to take advantage of the above mentioned discounts (information available here).
