106th National Congress
This year the 106th SIF National Congress Italian Physical Society will be held online from 14 to 18 September.
Plenary Sessions, Invitated Talks and Communications will be held online. More information will be available as soon as possible.
COMMUNICATION AND INVITED TALKS
Plenary Talks, chaired by the sections presidents, and all Invited Talks, chaired by the presidents of the parallel sections, will be held "live" with the possibility of making questions and comments.
A registered presentation is required for each Communication.
The format must be a 5-10 slide MP4 video presentation with sound that illustrates and explains the research presented in the abstract. The file should not be longer than 10 minutes and it should not exceed the size of 50 Mb. Videos longer than 10 minutes will not be admitted to the competition for prizes. A week before the opening of the Congress the presenting authors will receive the instructions for the MP4 file submission. The presentations will be available to all participants and to the Commissions appointed to designate the best ones.
One of the authors, possibly the speaker, must be member of the iIalian Physical Society.
Normally each author can be reported as a speaker in one communication only.
AWARDS FOR BEST PRESENTATIONS
The best speakers will be awarded a prize and their contribution will be published on Il Nuovo Cimento.
Moreover, an issue of Il Nuovo Cimento which will exceptionally host a certain number of communications deemed particularly worthy although they are not in the list of winners, will be published.
