PLANCKS – a competition for physics students

News del 04/04/2013

Physics students (undergraduates) in the Netherlands are organising a new international physics problem-solving tournament with the name PLANCKS (http://plancks.a-eskwadraat.nl/). The competition will be organized in 2014 for the first time in Utrecht

Every country can send in their top three teams of physics students to battle against each other over extremely difficult exercises. Teams can be up to four contestants and will also enjoy lectures by famous physicists.

The intention of the competition is to increase international collaboration, social activities and personal development of individual contestants. By bringing together physics students from different parts of the world, a setting to exchange ideas and experiences and to challenge each other is created.

People who are interested can contact Casper van Schuppen (plancks@A-Eskwadraat.nl) and they will be informed about the details of the tournament.
