COVID-19 APS Action

The APS is focusing on calling Congress's attention to the recommendation letter that President Phil Bucksbaum recently made regarding future economic stimulus packages and how legislators can help ensure the scientific community recovers from the circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic quickly and effectively.

The letter’s recommendations include providing grantees full or partial cost extensions, ensuring the supplemental funding necessary to restart labs and experiments, and substantially increasing REU funding for Summer 2021.
