NuPNET Common Call 2011 for joint transnational activities

The NuPNET ERA-NET for Nuclear Physics Infrastructures has launched the first common call for joint transnational activities on the NuPNET website. Twelve institutions funding Nuclear Physics in 10 European countries have agreed to fund this first call for transnational joint activities for a total amount of about 3.5 million Euros. Research groups funded by these agencies/institutions are expected to propose transnational research projects on any of the three topics selected by the NuPNET consortium for this first call. The topics are: --- R&D on new detector technologies for nuclear physics; --- R&D on EUROSOL technologies: accelerator components, targets and ion sources; --- Targeted action on nuclear structure and reactions theory.
