Nominations for the EPS High Energy Physics Prizes

The High Energy and Particle Physics (HEPP) Division of the European Physical Society (EPS) is calling for nominations for the EPS HEPP Prizes in 2011. Details on the regulations and previous recipients of these prizes can be found at the URL: http://eps-hepp.web.cern.ch/eps-hepp/prizes.php. The deadline for nominations for all Prizes is March 15, 2011. The Prizes will be presented to the winners at the International Europhysics Conference EPS-HEP 2011, which will be held in Grenoble, July 21-27, 2011. The list of Prizes is: ---The High Energy and Particle Physics Prize, for an outstanding contribution to High Energy Physics in experimental, theoretical or technological area, will be awarded to one or more persons or to collaboration. In accordance with EPS-HEPP regulations, nominations for this Prize are only accepted from a broad list of invited world experts. ---The Giuseppe and Vanna Cocconi Prize, for an outstanding contribution (experimental or theoretical) to Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology in the last fifteen years, will be awarded to an individual or individuals (normally to not more than 3). Nominations are open and should be addressed to the HEPP-EPS Chair, Professor Fabio Zwirner (fabio.zwirner@pd.infn.it). ---The Young Physicist Prize, for outstanding work by one or more young physicists (less than 35) in the field of Particle Physics and/or Particle Astrophysics. Nominations are open and should be addressed to the HEPP-EPS Secretary, Professor Paris Sphicas (paris.sphicas@cern.ch). ---The Gribov Medal, for outstanding work by a young physicist (less than 35) in Theoretical Particle Physics and/or Field Theory. Nominations are open and should be addressed to the HEPP-EPS Chair, Professor Fabio Zwirner (fabio.zwirner@pd.infn.it). ---The Outreach Prize, for outstanding outreach achievement connected with High Energy Physics and/or Particle Astrophysics. Nominations are open and should be addressed to Professor Daniel Wyler (wyler@physik.uzh.ch).
